Missouri Grand Assembly and the State Preceptory, Grand Cross of Color, have joined together this year to support Camp Barnabas, a Christian camp for kids, teens and adults, ages 7-40, with life threatening illnesses and disabilities. Starting with the simple dream of a young girl with cancer, Camp Barnabas is a place for children who cannot attend a typical summer camp and who have mental or physical challenges and/or chronic illnesses. It is a place where people come to just be kids at camp, a place where they are participants, not observers, and to be shown the love of Christ. |
